Sadness of an 8 year old

It's funny but heartbreaking at the same time.... my 8 year old was having a wee sob after he'd been put to bed.  He was missing our previous car (Mazda 6) that we replaced 9 months ago.  We saw one the same as we'd had when we were out today and I said how much I missed it because it was such a great car.  He was sad because we'd had it for his whole life and now we don't.    My husband tried to tell him we had to replace it as it wasn't big enough for us and he was sobbing that he didn't want to get a bigger one.  Poor wee man.
